Sachsenhausen

Concentration camps are always a powerful thing. You can go to the same one multiple times or a different one, but you can always learn more and be moved in different ways. For instance, I've never hear of the Soviets using Sachsenhausen for their own camps, which was fairly messed up in my opinion. Another, much more painfully affective fact was using the nearby women's camp as a brothel. You just can't imagine someone being so cruel as to have no regard for the sanctity of women, no matter the circumstances (culture, religion, etc.). Society ceases to exist (for multiple reasons) when women are no longer respected. So them forcing the women into the despair that is rape just breaks my heart, even beyond the other horrible things the Nazi regime did.
