Sachsenhaus

Today was a hard day. It's one thing to learn about what has happened in the past, but completely different to actually be there. I've gone to the Holocaust Museum in DC and thought that that might have prepared me a little bit for the day, but while that was very well done, it could not do justice to today. I really appreciated how Stefano walked us through everything, and then stayed with us for another 2 hours encase we had any further questions.
It was an experience I don't think I will ever be able to forget.
Where the prisoners weren't allowed to walk, but often were forced to.

"Work will make you free" the sign at the doors on all Concentration camps

Rows of rocks symbolizing where the barracks would have been.
